2005 Ducati Multistrada 1000ds wont start. Just picked up a ducati , haven't had issues besides the obvious cold start problems . Rode it down to work and now the bike won't start . It acts as if it wants to but won't fully turn over . Lights are all on , battery is connected to a tender , has gas (fuel gauge is broken tho) and I don't know

The 2003 1000 DS is Air cooled and I believe the 1100 Hypermotard is Air cooled as well. My husband prefers the air cooled motors because the maintenance is easier for him. 3976 posts · Joined 2006. #2 · May 13, 2018. the multi dash talks to the ecu via canbus. if you want to get rid of the dash you need to use a non canbus dash base file in the ecu - ie, monster 1000, 1000ssie. you modify the wiring loom to suit, or use the wiring loom from the same bike as a basis. this may also remove the idle control valve
